India's first tethered helium christened 'Balloon Safari' was inaugurated by Hon Chief Minister

Mr.Narendra Modi on 8th September 2010 at Kankaria Lake Front, Ahmedabad.

Balloon Safari, has been a landmark of the city drawing a large crowd for a Balloon ride and at the lake front and it has turned out to be the must visit attraction of the city.

At least 2,50,000 have enjoyed the Balloon Safari Ride till date. Tethered to the ground it elevates to a height of 350 feet which make it the city's highest view point enabling a breathtaking view of the beautiful Kankaria lake and important landmarks of the city. On a clear day, the balloon safari can be easily seen from a distance of 6-8 kms. Internally lit at night coupled with it being seen from a far distance it is a treat for a sponsor brand,to advertise on the innovative platform, the balloon envelope.
To enhance the experience of the ride enthusiasts, an audio tour made by the second grade student of Riverside with assistance of Radio City 91.1 is placed in the gondola.Our well trained and friendly crew at all times are more than willing to answer all about the functioning of the Balloon should any of the ride enthusiast have queries.

Balloon safari premises also boasts of its home restaurant Marc's Pizza / Dhaba @ lake and the stalls serving lip smacking food.

It’s truly a delight to cut a cake at 350 feet or host a function in its lake facing lawns which adds to you celebration. Balloon Safari too is an apt place for the school picnics where children get to experience a Balloon ride and know a lot more about the Balloons.
